Contact

By e-mail: contact@taxdebtcalc.com. No form, no appointment, no phone line, no newsletter: we sell no resolution service and need no name or address.

Messages that help

  • A penalty rule, rate, fee or standard that differs from the IRS page, form or code section we cite: name the page and the line of the official text.
  • A new quarterly interest rate, a new set of Collection Financial Standards or a fee change that we have not added yet.
  • A case the calculator handles badly, with the figures you typed.
  • Embedding the calculator on a library guide, a legal aid or credit counseling page, or a course page: the code is on the embed page.

What we cannot do

We do not review tax accounts, notices or financial statements, we do not contact the IRS for anyone, and we give no tax advice. For your own case: the number on your notice, your online IRS account, the Taxpayer Advocate Service, a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, or an enrolled agent, CPA or tax attorney you choose yourself.

Results are estimates built on the penalty rules of the Internal Revenue Code, the interest rates the IRS publishes each quarter, the payment plan fees and the Collection Financial Standards in force, applied to the figures you type. This is not tax advice, and the IRS decides: your transcript, notices and the financial statement it reviews are what count. We receive nothing from any tax resolution firm, lender or preparer.
